Kathleen Diamond Scholarships
The Faculty of Spanish and Portuguese Studies would like to express their gratitude to Kathleen Diamond for her generosity towards and passion for Modern Languages, as a result of which the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is able to award up to 4 Kathleen Diamond scholarships ($1000 each) for study abroad in Summer 2013.
These scholarships are available to all CLAS students but preference will be given to students participating in the programs led by UF faculty members and who are taking advanced-level modern language courses.
The application deadline is Friday, March 15st 2013. Please submit a hard copy of your application by this date to Dr. Gillian Lord (mailbox is located in 170 Dauer Hall) or to Dr. Mary Watt (mailbox is located in 301 Pugh Hall.)

UF in the Dominican Republic: International Service Learning
Do you have a heart for service? UF in the Dominican Republic offers students the opportunity to earn 6 credits in UF's first international service learning program.
Buenos Aires
Join us in Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina. This program hopes to attract a particular student population, the Spanish Bilingual students, who have not yet been targeted for study abroad.
Rio de Janeiro
Rio de Janeiro is a sophisticated, cosmopolitan city of about eight million people. With its world-famous beaches of Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon, and its equally famous Sugar Loaf and Corcovado mountains and Tijuca Forest, this fascinating city is considered by many to be the most beautiful in the world.
Santander
Join us in Santander, located on the Cantabrian Sea in Northern Spain.
Seville
Join us in Seville, located in sunny Andalusia in Southern Spain.
